Meet Dr. Goldstein (She/Her/Hers)


Dawn Goldstein, PhD, RN, PMHNP-BC, provides integrative mental health care to people of all ages at her practice, Huron Street Wellness Center, in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Her compassion and dedication to promoting wellness extends to everyone in the community and embraces LGBTQIA+ individuals.

Dr. Goldstein received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Lansing Community College in Lansing, Michigan, then graduated from the University of Phoenix in Tucson, Arizona, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

She continued her education at the University of Phoenix, receiving a Master of Science in Nursing, before successfully completing her Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing/Military Systems at the University of Arizona College of Nursing in Tucson.

Dr. Goldstein also received certification as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) from the University of Arizona and is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Before opening her private practice, Dr. Goldstein gained extensive clinical experience as a PMHNP in the United States Army Reserve and in many private clinics and hospitals in Arizona, Michigan, and Virginia.

Dr. Goldstein currently serves as a program director and assistant professor of the PMHNP program at Michigan State University (MSU) in East Lansing, Michigan, and is an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

In addition to publishing scientific studies in peer-reviewed journals like the Journal of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, Dr. Goldstein has completed numerous research projects for professional foundations and state and federal agencies.

She maintains active professional memberships in the American Academy of Nursing (AAN), the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties (NONPF), the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA), and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

Dr. Goldstein welcomes new patients and is honored to continue helping current patients as they restore mental health and wellness.
